Sample Case with Eric Streich PC
A client retained our office to assist with a judgment entered against her by the New York Institute of Technology. The attorney representing the Plaintiff was Eric Streich PC. Our client believed that service of the lawsuit documents was improperly made, and as such, asked for our assistance in contesting the judgment and also in resolving the underlying debt. Our office prepared an Order to Show Cause to vacate judgment, and prior to the matter being heard by the court, the parties came to a mutually agreeable settlement.
The judgment that was entered in an amount of nearly $10,000 was being settled for only $4,000. This represents a reduction of 60% on the judgment amount, and a savings of nearly $6000 from the present balance.
